Role Description
As Director, Product Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for leading the build out, adoption and ongoing management of a portfolio management system for the R&D investments of the global Product team, reporting to the VP of Product Operations and Services.
- Lead strategic planning and goal setting
- Build and manage a central intake process
- Establish health reporting
- Produce and manage a strategic product roadmap
- Work closely with Technology leadership to drive continuous optimization of our operating model
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Build a portfolio management framework governing product development work at Alkami
- Establish operating rhythms and routines for portfolio activity governance
- Shape structured processes for strategic workforce planning across Product and Technology
- Develop an end-to-end process for producing and maintaining the strategic product roadmap
- Collaborate with Technology partners to align on key metrics and reporting capabilities
- Coordinate with Product and stakeholder group leaders to develop a refreshed Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)
- Partner with Technology leadership to evaluate and optimize the Agile operating model
- Work with Human Resources to recruit and build a high-performing team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of product / program / portfolio management experience, preferably in the SaaS or Fintech space
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum
- Demonstrated experience driving large scale transformations
- Deep proficiency in change management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative leader who inspires and motivates teams
- Experience owning complex, cross-functional processes end-to-end
- Proficient in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ProductBoard
- Proficient in collaboration tools such as Slack and GSuite
