[Hiring] Commercial Product Manager @RR

Role Description

Our new fermentation intelligence software is already proving itself in a live US ethanol plant, giving operators and management teams performance monitoring, alarming and operational guidance. Now we need someone to take it to the rest of the industry.

This is not a back-office product role. It's commercial and customer-facing, suited to someone who knows the ethanol industry inside out. You'll be out in plants demonstrating the product, being the expert in the room alongside our US sales lead, supporting rollouts and gathering feedback. Then you'll bring it all back, make the case for what comes next, and help steer the software's development.

You'll lead the development of the roadmap collaboratively:

• Ideas come from everyone who talks to customers (which is all of us).
• Bring them together, prioritize them and present a clear recommendation to the leadership team.
• Determine what we should build next, who is asking for it, and the value it will deliver.

Typical backgrounds include:

• Process Engineer
• Fermentation Specialist
• Technical Sales or Business Development Manager
• Applications Engineer
• Plant Manager
• Product Manager (hardware or software) in fuel ethanol
• Experience with a yeast, enzyme, chemical, equipment or technology supplier to the industry

Qualifications

• 5+ Years in Fuel Ethanol
• Fermentation & Plant Operations
• Process Data & Control Systems
• Customer-Facing Commercial Work

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience in the North American fuel ethanol industry, at a plant or as a supplier to one
• A strong understanding of ethanol fermentation, yield, contamination control and plant economics
• Familiar with process data and plant systems – SCADA, DCS, PLCs, historians (hands-on integration skills are a nice-to-have, not a must-have)
• Product management experience on software or industrial hardware is valuable
• Commercially minded and confident presenting to anyone, from the control room to the boardroom
• A collaborator rather than a gatekeeper
• A self-starter
• Willing to roll up your sleeves
• Comfortable with approximately 50% travel across a large territory
• An existing network in the US ethanol industry is a real plus

• $140,000 – $170,000 Base Salary (DOE) + Performance Bonus + Stock Options
