[Hiring] Chief Product Officer @Maisha Meds

Role Description

Maisha Meds is hiring! We're looking for a product leader to own our platform end to end and define what it becomes over the next three years.

This role owns that system end to end:

• The provider experience
• The reimbursement workflows
• The data products our payors depend on
• The AI layer that cuts across all of it

You will define what the platform becomes over the next three years, be accountable for growth and for health outcomes, and lead an interdisciplinary team spanning product, design, engineering, clinical, and country program functions.

Two things make this different from most product leadership roles:

• Our funding is increasingly tied to verified outcomes rather than activity.
• We have the dataset, the provider relationships, and the operational load that make AI worth doing for real rather than as a pilot.

The role is remote-first (though with a preference for aligned time zones), with travel across our markets for product research and to work with our team. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• A builder: You have taken at least one product from concept to production to scale in a resource-constrained environment, and you owned its outcomes.
• Depth in AI product work: 8+ years of product experience, with a meaningful share of that on AI-powered products and managing people.
• Quantitative instinct: You are genuinely data fluent and have built an experimentation practice.
• First-principles thinking about service design: You prototype quickly and make your vision concrete.
• Credibility across clinical and technical teams: You can earn trust with both and translate between them.
• Context: Deep experience with building products that users love, including customer needs and market opportunity.
• Mindsets: A team player who loves working collaboratively, with a sense of optimism and adaptability.

Requirements

• Hands-on fluency with LLMs: prompt design, retrieval architectures, eval pipelines, agent tooling, and the cost, latency, and quality trade-offs.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical tools, or another high-stakes domain is a strong plus.
• Prior experience with third-party technology and product partnerships helps.
