Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically savvy Associate Product Owner to support the development, enhancement, and delivery of enterprise Chat Platform solutions, including Chat, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), and Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) technologies.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering leadership, Scrum Masters, and Agile development teams to help define product priorities, manage the product backlog, and deliver innovative digital customer experiences.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Agile product delivery, backlog management, and business analysis, along with an understanding of conversational AI, chatbots, IVR systems, and cloud technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging Product Owner or experienced Business Analyst looking to expand their product management experience while supporting enterprise-level conversational AI and customer engagement solutions.

What You'll Do

• Product Roadmap & Backlog Management:
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and release timelines.
  • Maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development tasks.
  • Help define feature scope, functional requirements, and product enhancements across chat and IVR platforms.
  • Balance competing priorities while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
• Agile Delivery & Sprint Planning:
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Team Managers, and engineering teams to support Agile development and sprint execution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Break down complex initiatives into manageable user stories and technical requirements.
  • Help establish sprint goals, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of product enhancements.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks while coordinating solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Chat, IVR & Conversational AI Solutions:
  • Support the development and optimization of enterprise chatbots, IVR systems, and conversational AI capabilities.
  • Work with technical teams to evaluate platform functionality, integrations, and proposed solutions.
  • Help ensure seamless customer experiences across digital chat and voice channels.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on system integrations, cloud-based technologies, and platform improvements.
  • Apply knowledge of conversational AI and customer engagement technologies to support product decisions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and product leadership.
  • Communicate product requirements, priorities, timelines, and delivery updates.
  • Assist with technical and business decision-making to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Build strong working relationships across business, product, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Agile software delivery role.
• Experience working within an IT or software development environment.
• Hands-on experience writing user stories, defining requirements, and managing product backlogs.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint ceremonies.
• Experience with Jira, digital.ai Agility, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
• Foundational understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), system integrations, and cloud technologies.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and technical leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise chat platforms, chatbots, IVR, IVA, contact center technologies, or conversational AI solutions.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud environments.
• Understanding of digital customer experience platforms and multi-channel customer engagement solutions.
• Experience working in the health insurance, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
• Exposure to enterprise-level platform integrations and technical product delivery.
