Role Description

Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. As AI Product Manager, you will provide strategic leadership for the vision, development, implementation, and lifecycle management of healthcare AI products. In this role, you will:

• Translate complex business, clinical, operational, and customer needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions that improve outcomes for patients, caregivers, providers, and healthcare organizations.
• Lead product strategy, roadmap development, portfolio planning, and cross-functional execution to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and deliver measurable business value.
• Work in close partnership with software engineering, data science, machine learning, clinical, operations, and business leaders.
• Guide product decisions from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
• Balance customer needs, technical feasibility, regulatory considerations, and business objectives while ensuring efficient and effective product delivery.
• Foster alignment across executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to advance a cohesive AI product portfolio and drive innovation, organizational strategy, and long-term growth.

A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. To be considered for this position, candidates must reside in Ohio, Nevada, or Florida.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered healthcare products and platforms.
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging AI technologies to drive innovation.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products, from discovery and MVP development to launch, scaling, and optimization.
• Translate clinical, operational, customer, and business requirements into prioritized product initiatives.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and AI/ML teams to design and deliver AI-enabled solutions.
• Evaluate AI/ML models, data requirements, performance metrics, and deployment considerations to inform product decisions.
• Balance model performance, user experience, technical feasibility, compliance, and business objectives.
• Ensure AI products follow the established responsible AI practices, including transparency, fairness, governance, and risk management.
• Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, KPIs, and success metrics.
• Prioritize features and investments based on customer value, business impact, technical complexity, and resource constraints.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of AI products, platforms, and shared capabilities.
• Drive platform strategy, product standardization, governance, and cross-product alignment.
• Lead executive stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and product communications.
• Develop business cases, investment recommendations, roadmap updates, and product performance reviews.
• Define go-to-market, adoption, commercialization, and change management strategies to maximize product success and healthcare impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 10 years of product management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience developing and managing product roadmaps from MVP through mature product evolution.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling successful enterprise and/or consumer technology products.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, data science, design, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with machine learning engineers, AI scientists, and data scientists to deliver AI-powered products.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, presentation, and executive influence skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), machine learning platforms, and AI product commercialization (preferred).
• Experience in Technical Program Management (TPM), program leadership, or large-scale product delivery (preferred).
• Experience managing platform products, product portfolios, and multi-product ecosystems (preferred).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (preferred).
• Experience working for a technology vendor developing software products (preferred).
• Experience with owning a product roadmap (preferred).
• Experience with commercialized AI solutions (preferred).
• Experience with AI Product Commercialization in the tech sector (preferred).
