[Hiring] VMS Operations Associate @Wonolo

Role Description

We’re looking for a specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing our Vendor Management System (VMS) operations. You will be employed by a third-party legal entity authorized to do business in the location in which you reside and you will provide contractual services to Wonolo’s Central Operations team. You’ll be the expert for managing requests in the VMS, posting and managing jobs on our platform, and ensuring that job requests are filled quickly and efficiently. You’ll manage the entire process from receiving orders to fulfilling them with the right workers. This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale products and lead key architectural initiatives. You will be a big driver in delivering a world-class customer experience.

What you'll do:

• Monitoring and Manage Requests: You will regularly monitor for new booking requests. You’ll be responsible for claiming these jobs in the VMS and managing them from start to finish.
• Tracking and Updating Booking Status in VMS Portal: You will be responsible for tracking the status of each request in the VMS, updating it when a worker accepts or withdraws from a job. You’ll also manage the bookings by either successfully filling them or releasing the job if a worker does not fill the position.
• Process development: You will work with our operations team to build and further refine our VMS operations processes by becoming a functional expert and understanding the process from end to end.
• Maintain accuracy: Execute daily processes with accuracy and speed. Ensure the reliable execution of all daily processes by consistently following operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail: You have exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined approach to following established processes.
• Builder: You want to help build new processes and are willing to roll up your sleeves in order to help us move more quickly.
• Quick learner: You can quickly pick up new processes and become a subject matter expert.
• Operational excellence: You have experience in an operational or administrative role where you were responsible for the accurate and timely execution of tasks.
• Management experience: This role will evolve into a managerial role over time and we would prefer someone who has management experience.
