[Hiring] Scheduler / Coordinator @Somewhere

Role Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Remote Scheduler / Coordinator to manage provider assignments, shift coverage, and calendar logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining accurate scheduling calendars.
• Tracking shift extensions and proactively resolving coverage gaps.
• Serving as a crucial liaison between clinical providers, internal recruiting/account management teams, and client facility contacts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in scheduling, operations coordination, logistics, or administrative support (preferably within healthcare, staffing, or customer service).
• Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to manage complex calendars and high-volume scheduling logistics.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, calendar management software, and scheduling tools.
• Full alignment with US working hours as a remote independent contractor.

Requirements

• Prior experience in healthcare staffing, locum tenens, or clinical roster management (preferred).
• Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) or workforce scheduling software (preferred).
• Proven ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure when resolving urgent scheduling conflicts (preferred).
