Role Description

Reporting to the Director, AS Operations Excellence and partnering closely with plant leadership teams, the Manager, AS Reliability & Maintenance leads the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability programs, standards, and best practices across AS manufacturing facilities. This role partners with plant maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, asset performance, and operational efficiency through preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance practices. This manager will also provide technical support, monitor performance metrics, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives that support safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. The manager champions reliability and maintenance skill and competency development across broad operational leaders and teams and develops reliability subject matter experts and capabilities across AS manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, maintenance management, operations management, or a related technical discipline required; an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and progressive maintenance and reliability leadership experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of maintenance, reliability, engineering, operations, or manufacturing experience, including responsibility for maintenance improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability, operational performance, productivity, and cost through maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Multi-site manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance and reliability methodologies, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Precision Maintenance, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, lubrication excellence, vibration analysis, thermography, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational excellence practices.

• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional teams and support implementation of operational improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and support maintenance capability development efforts.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align maintenance and reliability initiatives with operational and financial objectives.
