[Hiring] Director, Service Operations @Millennium Corporation

Role Description

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Director, Service Operations to work 100% REMOTE. The candidate should have an active secret clearance or should be eligible to obtain. The Director reports to the Vice President, Service Operations and is responsible for managing all operational aspects of assigned contract execution and a book of business, including:

• Providing leadership and senior management of Millennium contract teams in a dedicated market space.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and employee development and growth.
• Achieving annual revenue growth goals established for the market space through successful marketing of company capabilities and performance.
• Expanding existing work and building sector capture pipeline.
• Managing proposal efforts to win new work.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive internal and external business development plan, marketing plan, and associated financial plan.
• Participating in the capture and proposal process to increase revenues and profits.
• Providing technical support and leadership to direct operations supervisors and staff.
• Ensuring the highest quality of customer service is provided on existing contracts.
• Providing administrative support in areas of compliance, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a current security clearance at the required level or be eligible to obtain.
• Bachelor or master’s degree.
• 5-7 years of project/program management experience, managing Systems Engineering/Acquisition programs.
• Experience managing Navy programs.
• Ability to manage profit and loss as well as organic business development.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently set priorities, organize tasks, monitor assignments, and ensure completion of assigned work.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Office 365), and SharePoint.
• Flexibility to work from a remote site when required and/or approved.

• Managing Operations to improve business processes and manage risk.
• Implementing effective management strategies to promote contract and employee retention.
• Establishing/enforcing effective management policies, procedures, workflows, and training.
• Establishing team goals and communicating/managing them.
• Ensuring adherence to operations milestones/phases of the process.
• Providing timely and accurate analysis, reporting, and review.
• Establishing budgets and managing spending across assigned areas to maintain profitability goals.
• Evaluating operational methods to determine competitiveness with the latest trends in the industry.
• Coordinating performance feedback, performance improvement plans, promotions, and terminations by partnering with Human Resources.
• Fulfilling contract labor requirements with Talent Acquisition Manager and/or members of the talent acquisition team.

Benefits

• Compensation: $190K-$200K.
• The salary range provided for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary or compensation amount. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
