[Hiring] Business Operations Manager @EPAM

Role Description

We are looking for a Business Operations Manager to partner with Business Unit leadership, Client Partners, Finance, and cross-functional teams to drive business performance, financial visibility, and operational excellence. This role combines financial analysis, business governance, stakeholder management, and process improvement, with a strong focus on independent ownership and data-driven decision-making.

• Analyze P&L performance, support forecasting and resource planning, evaluate pricing scenarios, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Manage business reviews, monitor KPIs, revenue commitments, and forecasts, and deliver accurate reporting with actionable insights to leadership.
• Partner with Client Partners and cross-functional teams on commercial activities, contract renewals, operational risks, and shifting business priorities.
• Standardize workflows and improve reporting accuracy by leveraging automation, BI tools, and AI to boost efficiency and scalability.
• Establish operating cadences, prioritize competing requests, track commitments, anticipate risks, and drive issues through to resolution with appropriate stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years in Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level roles.
• Proven track record managing engagements for teams of 5 or more full-time employees.
• Experience in Business Operations, Financial Operations, FP&A, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of P&L analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, and cost optimization.
• Advanced Excel skills, along with experience building dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.
• Experience using CRM or client management systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English (B2) and a proactive, accountable approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• Experience in technology services, consulting, or project-based business environments (nice to have).
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, workflow automation, and AI tools (nice to have).
• Knowledge of project economics, resource utilization, pricing, and contract management (nice to have).
• Strong combination of financial acumen, structured problem-solving, and execution skills, with the ability to take ownership, proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities, align stakeholders, and turn complex business information into actionable insights (nice to have).
• Relevant certification, which would be considered a valuable addition to your qualifications (nice to have).
