Role Description

MaxHealth is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to handle Tele-visits. Candidates must have strong computer skills, be able to troubleshoot & help patients join the visit electronically. Experience doing tele-visits is required to be considered for this position. Healow experience preferred.

• Starting Salary: $20.00 an hour
• Location: Remote but must be located in the State of Florida
• Normal hours of operation: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Prefer Candidates who are Bilingual and speak English & Spanish

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Experience with Tele-visits, preferably using Healow
• Computer proficient (experience using EMR/EHR)

Requirements

• Deliver focused and empathetic patient care
• Greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival
• Prepare patients to see the physician virtually by obtaining their histories, vital signs, and performing medication reconciliation
• Handle inbound patient calls to assist with scheduling appointments
• Check out patients virtually after the visit
