Role Description

This opportunity may suit telemedicine physicians interested in contributing their expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks. The work is remote research, not telemedicine care, and physicians from any medical specialty may apply. If you are a registered physician with a current US medical license and are willing to provide your National Provider Identifier (NPI) for verification, we’d like to hear from you.

• Eligible applicants will be invited into a dedicated Prolific workspace.
• After your credentials have been verified, you may be invited to complete a training or qualification assessment.
• Physicians who meet the project’s requirements and pass the assessment may then be invited to participate in project tasks.
• This is a paid research participation opportunity, not an offer of clinical employment or a salaried physician position.
• Participation is remote and task-based, with no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Current residence in the United States.
• Registered status as a physician with a current US medical license.
• Willingness to provide your NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding.
• Willingness to complete the required training or qualification assessment after verification.
• Access to a computer, a reliable internet connection, and the ability to follow detailed online instructions.

Requirements

• Completing expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
• Completing an assessment, if invited, to establish your suitability for the project.
• If qualified and selected, applying your medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
• Following the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.

Benefits

• Current indicative rate for invited paid screening is US$130 per hour.
• Project task rates starting at US$216 per hour.
• You’ll be able to review each available task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before deciding whether to take part.
