Role Description

Join our dynamic care team as a Telehealth Physician! This position provides an excellent opportunity for a doctor to step out of a traditional role and provide compassionate care to frail, elderly, and complex patients in their homes with the assistance of cross-trained paramedics.

• Utilize advanced in-home diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities to diagnose and treat acute symptoms.
• Tailor treatment plans and identify readmission risk factors.
• Engage patients and their families in education and problem-solving, leading to lower hospitalization rates.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in online technology and exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice.
• Current state license in Pennsylvania or Louisiana.
• Well-versed in various Electronic Medical Records.
• Prior experience working within a value-based care environment (preferred).
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiar with and able to demonstrate multicultural competency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 days availability including one weekend day/month.
• Shifts are 8-12 hours.
• Hours of operation are 7 days/week 9am-9pm EST.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to provide an appropriate telehealth environment during patient care.
• Must complete all required mandatory company learning modules in a timely manner.

Benefits

• Compensation of $75 per hour with an additional $75 per patient after the first four are treated.
