Role Description

The Technical Program Officer, Clinical & Systems is a cross-functional role focused on strengthening clinical quality, workforce capacity, data systems, and continuous quality improvement across MiracleFeet’s global partner network. This role does not provide direct clinical services but supports partner organizations and healthcare providers to:

• Improve treatment quality
• Strengthen clinical and digital systems
• Build local capacity
• Promote data-driven decision making

The position reports to MiracleFeet’s Technical Director and works closely with various teams to strengthen treatment quality, data quality, and overall program performance. This is a full-time, remote position, based in Nigeria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medicine (MBBS), Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences, Orthotics & Prosthetics, or another relevant clinical discipline required.
• Additional training or experience in Public Health, Health Systems Strengthening, Quality Improvement, Digital Health, or Program Management strongly preferred.
• Formal Ponseti training and experience providing or supporting clubfoot treatment strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience across clinical practice, public health programs, health systems strengthening, quality improvement, rehabilitation services, digital health, or international development.
• Experience in clinical service delivery, program implementation, data systems, monitoring and evaluation, or digital health platforms.
• Fluency in English required; additional local or international languages are an asset.
• Ability to travel domestically within Nigeria and internationally up to 25–30% of the time.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of clinical quality improvement, health service delivery, rehabilitation services, disability-inclusive programming, and health workforce development.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality training, mentorship, and technical guidance to clinicians and healthcare professionals in both in-person and virtual settings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate clinical, operational, and digital systems data into practical quality improvement actions.
• Experience with digital health, mHealth, data visualization, reporting, and performance monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with digital platforms such as CommCare or other mobile data, Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-cultural environments with a high degree of initiative, adaptability, and autonomy.
