[Hiring] Surgery Coordinator @Helm

Role Description

We’re looking for a Surgery Coordinator to join our growing team at The Coordinators! You’d be working remotely with our client in the Orthopedics space.

In this role, you will coordinate the complete surgical scheduling process, serving as the primary liaison between patients, providers, insurance companies, and surgical facilities. You will manage:

• Referrals
• Prior authorizations
• Scheduling
• Documentation
• Post-operative follow-up

This is a highly hands-on, patient-facing administrative role that requires reliability, structure, and proactive communication.

• Strong surgery coordination experience

• Comfort navigating surgical workflows and insurance requirements
• Exceptional organization and consistency
• High ethical standards while supporting efficient practice operations

Qualifications

• Strong surgery coordination experience (required)
• Strong prior authorization experience for surgical procedures (required)
• Experience managing the full surgery scheduling process from referral through post-operative coordination
• Experience coordinating with insurance companies, surgical facilities, and physician offices
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple surgical cases simultaneously
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional communication
• Outstanding customer service skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through
• Orthopedic surgery experience (preferred)
• Experience with RXNT (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
• Tech-savvy and effective in a remote work environment
• High integrity and ability to handle sensitive patient information
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and respect in all patient interactions
• Willingness to learn, grow, and develop yourself professionally

Requirements

• Full-time, aligned with practice hours
• Pay Range: $1000 – $1500 per month
• Equipment: BYO devices
