[Hiring] Spanish-Speaking Medical Expert Witness @Prime Physicians

Role Description

• Serve as an independent Medical Expert (ME) witness supporting SSA disability hearings across the Eastern Division's multi-regional hearing offices.
• Provide impartial, evidence-based medical opinions to ALJs to assist in determining disability eligibility under Title II and Title XVI.
• Act as a subject-matter resource on medical conditions, functional limitations, and vocational impact.
• Support high-volume scheduling across multiple hearing offices within the assigned region.
• Uphold objectivity and professional medical standards throughout the administrative hearings process.

Qualifications

• Current medical licensure/board certification.
• Ability to pass government suitability and credentialing screening.
• Willingness to travel as needed across Eastern Division hearing offices.

Requirements

• Review claimant medical records, exhibits, and case files prior to scheduled hearings.
• Prepare written medical studies summarizing findings and opinions on the claimant's condition.
• Respond to written interrogatories from ALJs or claimant representatives.
• Deliver oral expert testimony via telephone, video, or in-person (travel required) at scheduled hearings.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard PII in accordance with federal requirements.
