Role Description
As a Sleep Coach, youβll help patients get the most out of their CPAP therapy by providing personalized guidance, education, and support throughout their first year of treatment. This is a remote-based position where youβll connect with patients, helping them understand their therapy, work through challenges, and build habits that support better adherence.

Proactively reach out to and respond to patients during their first full year of CPAP therapy.

Conduct inbound and outbound calls to coach, educate, and encourage patients as they adjust to CPAP therapy.

Help patients identify barriers to using their therapy consistently and provide practical tools and strategies to overcome them.

Review patient usage information through manufacturer software and use that information to guide meaningful, data-driven conversations.

Use knowledge of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) to help patients understand their therapy and the potential benefits of consistent use.

Provide basic troubleshooting support for PAP and mask equipment and help patients understand how to use their equipment properly.

Encourage patients to take an active role in their therapy, including downloading and using manufacturer mobile applications.

Educate patients about insurance requirements, equipment cleaning, and future resupply needs.

Verify patient demographics, physician information, and communication preferences during patient contacts.

Accurately document patient interactions, questions, concerns, and next steps in the patient account.

Share ideas and identify opportunities to improve the patient experience and support business growth in a positive and constructive manner.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company privacy requirements.

Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience working with patients diagnosed with OSA is preferred.

Experience working with various insurance plans, including HMO, PPO, and Medicare, is preferred.
