Role Description
A Senior Medical Writer is responsible for content development, proactively communicating with clients, and driving the strategic direction of the product. S/he will have detailed knowledge of product, competitive landscape, key literature, and evolving science in the field specific to that product and will stay abreast on current literature, and the competitive landscape.

Collaborate closely as a strategic partner with Project Management and Client Services to establish project plans.

Identify and anticipate issues that could affect timelines while meeting agency standards.

Responsible for research and content support of business development goals.

Expected to support the organic growth of the account(s) they are assigned.

All MSS roles directly support clients through content generation and strategy.
Qualifications
-
Advanced terminal degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, or equivalent experience.

A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in an agency, the pharmaceutical industry, or a related scientific or medical writing position in oncology or hematology.

Proven ability to work independently.
Requirements

Established understanding of the oncology and/or hematology markets.

Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.
