Role Description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join us as a Medical Director / Collaborating Physician in a flexible, part-time capacity. This role is ideal for a physician who is interested in helping shape and guide a new practice without the demands of a full-time position. The position is primarily collaborative and strategic, with light ongoing involvement and some initial time commitment to help build and establish the practice.

• The Medical Director will partner with our leadership team to support the clinical vision, quality, and growth of the practice.
• This is not a full-time clinical role.
• The physician will serve in an advisory and oversight capacity.
• Responsibilities centered around collaboration, clinical guidance, and helping set the foundation for a high-quality telehealth rheumatology service.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Rheumatology
• Licensed in New York and able to practice in the state
• Ideally has an established professional corporation (PC) or similar entity
• Interested in a flexible, part-time partnership opportunity
• Comfortable contributing to a startup environment
• Strong communicator with an interest in innovation and access to care

Benefits

• Monthly stipend provided in the range of $2,000-$4,000 monthly
