Company Description

Miwatj Health is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service established in 1992. We deliver culturally safe and responsive primary healthcare services to more than 6,000 people across East Arnhem Land. Through our clinics, outreach teams, and offices in Nhulunbuy and Darwin, we remain committed to supporting Yolŋu-led health and wellbeing.

Experience the unique opportunity to live and work within the vibrant communities of Galiwin'ku, Gapuwiyak, Ramingining, and Milingimbi. Rich in culture, connection to Country, and community spirit, these communities offer an incredibly rewarding environment for healthcare professionals seeking meaningful work and genuine impact.

Working across East Arnhem Land provides exposure to diverse clinical experiences while supporting community-led healthcare in some of Australia's most culturally significant and remote regions. You will build strong relationships, enhance your remote health skills, and contribute to improved health outcomes for Aboriginal communities.

Experience working in remote or Aboriginal health settings is highly regarded, but not essential. If you are passionate about making a difference and embracing a unique lifestyle, we would love to hear from you.
