[Hiring] Registered Psychotherapist / Clinical Counsellor @LifestyleRx

Role Description

LifestyleRx is seeking passionate Registered Psychotherapists or Clinical Counsellors who are dedicated to helping patients achieve better health outcomes through evidence-based lifestyle medicine. As part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a key role in supporting patients through the behavioural and emotional changes necessary to improve their metabolic health. This is a virtual, part-time position with flexible scheduling with a minimum requirement of 10 hours per week.

• Provide 1:1 virtual counselling to patients enrolled in our 12-week Lifestyle Medicine program
• Support patients in navigating behaviour change, emotional eating, stress, motivation, and other psychological aspects of mental health and health improvement
• Develop and deliver care plans to help patients improve sleep and stress resilience
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, dietitians, and physiotherapists
• Participate in training to become confident in delivering care using our lifestyle medicine framework

Qualifications

• Registered to practice in BC, AB or ON
• Training and/or experience in behavioural change, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and lifestyle medicine
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with technology and delivering care in a virtual environment
• Able to work independently and within a collaborative team setting
