[Hiring] Regional Coding Manager @R1 RCM

Role Description

As our Regional Coding Manager, you will help support middle revenue cycle functions spanning client management, medical coding operations, quality compliance, and process improvement.

• Ensure service level agreements are met by monitoring team performance, productivity, and quality targets and providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and support.
• Conduct daily and weekly coding performance reviews to meet KPIs, and identify and report barriers and defects to customers and leadership.
• Address moderate to complex coding workflow issues, lead project plans for resolution, and escalate key performance barriers as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality review team to address coding quality issues, implement improvement plans, and ensure staff compliance with performance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC: RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC.
• Medical coding experience in a healthcare setting where you gained knowledge of charge capture strategies, pricing modalities, payer contract knowledge, and patient accounting solutions.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Leadership experience in a healthcare revenue cycle management position where you held team meetings, provided ongoing coaching and feedback, and annual performance reviews.

Requirements

• An active coding certification.
• Healthcare revenue cycle management experience.

Benefits

• Base pay range: $65,000.00 - $116,747.20 per year.
• Eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%.
