Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Clinical Applications Manager to lead the support, administration, operational management, and continuous improvement of enterprise Radiology applications and imaging environments across a large, multi-site healthcare organization.

The Radiology Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Radiology Clinical Application Support professionals supporting mission-critical PACS, VNA, diagnostic workstations, advanced visualization platforms, reporting solutions, image-sharing applications, and associated Radiology workflows.

The ideal candidate will combine strong Radiology IT domain expertise with people management and service delivery leadership. The candidate should have an in-depth understanding of:

• PACS/RIS workflows
• DICOM
• HL7
• Modality connectivity
• Enterprise imaging architecture
• Diagnostic workstations
• Integrations with EMR/EHR platforms

This role will serve as a key liaison between:

• Radiologists
• Physicians
• Technologists
• Clinical stakeholders
• Application support teams
• Infrastructure teams
• Vendors
• IT leadership

to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting patient care.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Healthcare IT / Radiology Informatics / Clinical Application experience
• 8+ years of team leadership, technical leadership, application management, or service delivery management experience
• Demonstrated experience managing or leading enterprise Radiology/PACS support teams
• Experience supporting large, multi-site hospital or integrated healthcare environments
• Strong understanding of clinical support models and the criticality of Radiology systems to patient care

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with PACS Administration, VNA, DICOM protocols and routing, HL7 integrations, RIS/PACS workflow management, Modality Worklists, Image lifecycle management, Enterprise imaging, Diagnostic workstations, Image exchange workflows, Advanced visualization platforms
• Strong experience supporting and/or managing teams responsible for enterprise Radiology applications
• Strong understanding of workflows and connectivity associated with CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Digital Radiography / X-ray, Mammography, Other enterprise imaging modalities
• Experience managing geographically distributed and/or onshore/offshore support teams
• Strong incident and escalation management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
