Role Description

The employee will be a part-time program clinician for SC Safe Seniors and will provide direct clinical services to the adult trauma and abuse population. SC Safe Seniors is a VOCA grant funded direct services program offering trauma focused mental health treatment to older adults who have experienced abuse or neglect. SC Safe Seniors offers individual evidence-based trauma treatment for patients experiencing symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and other related mental health conditions following abuse or neglect.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and two years professional experience in human services or social services programs.
• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or a related field.
• Provisionally licensed (LPC-A).
• Experience working with traumatic stress populations and older adults.
• Certifications in evidence-based treatments for PTSD and depression related to trauma (e.g., Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

Requirements

• Provision of evidence-based trauma informed comprehensive intake evaluations via telehealth or face-to-face.
• Provision of evidence-based treatment via telehealth or face-to-face with patients who have experienced abuse or neglect.
• Attend individual and group clinical supervision.
• Complete any certifications needed and in-service training.
• Attend group meetings to discuss ongoing clinical operations.
• Direct supervision by a licensed professional counselor supervisor.

Benefits

• Hourly pay rate: $46,206.00 - $62,322.00 - $78,540.00.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 20.
