Role Description

As our Physician, you will deliver the highest quality patient care within a high-functioning interdisciplinary team, adhering to ethical and professional standards.

• Evaluate and manage patients, maintain precise medical records, and fulfill administrative duties.
• Comply with all relevant healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, managed care), ethical directives, and hospital policies.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and relevant committees.
• Contribute to operational matters and provide on-call coverage.
• Pursue continuous medical education to maintain expertise.
• Commit to quality care, compliance, continuous learning, and active participation in hospital goals.
• Provide highest quality patient care and ambulatory care in the Clinic as designated.
• Update and maintain medical records for all examinations and services in accordance with policy.
• Participate and comply with the requirements of sponsoring entities' ethical and religious directives (ERD), Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal and state reimbursement plans.
• Lead various activities and initiatives that promote clinical and quality improvement for services provided.
• Comply with Hospital's policies and procedures, including financial reviews and utilization review/quality management.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field, both academically and through applied skill.
• Develop personal and professional knowledge and competence through continuing medical education, including maintaining applicable board certification.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
• Doctorate MD or DO required.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required.
• Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital.
• Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution.
• Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration.
