Role Description

• Provide high-quality physical therapy telepractice services aligned with mandated IEP and student goals.
• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for Special Education eligibility determinations.
• Complete progress monitoring documentation, including daily SOAP notes and quarterly progress reports.
• Participate actively as an IEP team member, attending virtual meetings and ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and school district guidelines.
• Exercise strong communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary school staff, onsite partners, and families.

Qualifications

• Active state professional license as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT, MSPT, or DPT).
• Minimum of 1 year of post-master’s IEP experience working in a school-based setting.
• Minimum daytime availability of 10 hours per week during standard school hours.
• Strong self-motivation, organization, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities.
• Working knowledge of basic technology, digital paperwork platforms, and virtual meeting tools, with the ability to troubleshoot basic software needs.
