[Hiring] Patient Services Specialist @Providence

Role Description

Work in conjunction with an RN/provider to ensure quality patient care and optimum customer service. Responsible for coordinating inpatient and outpatient surgical cases.

• Provides routine and complex financial counseling to patients.
• Research routine and complex referral and billing issues.
• Completes routine and complex encounter form coding for all surgical cases.

Qualifications

• Health care or insurance experience.
• 1 year of Ambulatory practice experience.
• 1 year of experience with coding ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS.
• 1 year of Third-party billing and referrals experience.
• Prior experience in liaison role for providers and staff.

Requirements

• 1 year of Comparable experience in an outpatient care setting.
• Experience with Windows, Word, Excel.
