[Hiring] Patient Care - Registered Nurse - Max Term Contract @Montu

Role Description

We are seeking passionate and adaptable Registered Nurses to join Montu on a max-term contract to support patients throughout their medical journey at our Alternaleaf Clinic. You will conduct telehealth assessments, support patients through treatment expectations, and build strong knowledge of our patient journey and systems.

• Contract 1: Aug 2026 - Mid June 2027
• Contract 2: Aug 2026 - September 2027

This is a full-time remote position working a structured 5-day roster between Monday and Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm AEST/AEDT, including one Saturday per month.

Please note:

• These positions are offered as max-term contract positions commencing in August 2026.
• Part-time arrangements or variations to hours are not available.
• Limited flexibility is available during the onboarding and training period.
• Applicants must be available to work over the Christmas and New Year period.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no conditions, restrictions, or undertakings.
• Minimum 3 years' post-graduate clinical RN experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
• Experience managing patients with chronic health conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
• Strong emotional resilience and the ability to navigate complex or sensitive patient interactions professionally.
• High level of digital literacy and confidence using multiple systems simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively within structured processes, performance metrics, and service standards.
• Proven problem-solving skills and sound clinical judgement.

Requirements

• Previous telehealth or virtual care experience (highly regarded).
• Mental health nursing experience (highly regarded).
