Role Description
Oncology pipeline MSL is a pivotal field-based role that connects GSK to the healthcare community. This non-promotional, customer-facing position focuses on advancing clinical practice within an assigned territory to improve patient outcomes. The pipeline MSL brings deep clinical and oncology therapeutic expertise and market/landscape knowledge to engage with Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and account personnel, in alignment with GSK's medical strategies and plans.

Facilitate scientific exchange and serve as a medical resource.

Ensure healthcare providers understand unmet patient and healthcare needs, evolving treatment landscape, and the benefit/risk profile of GSK medicines.

Identify disease and product-related medical needs.

Capture and communicate medical insights.

Facilitate research to advance clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities

Leverage scientific expertise and market knowledge to identify and engage HCPs.

Engage with HCPs on emerging data, clinical trials, medical unmet needs, and educate on disease state and product information.

Contribute to medical strategy by collecting and communicating medical insights.

Demonstrate strategic territory planning and management.

Support clinical trials by facilitating relevant medical activities.

Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure a customer-centric approach.

Understand and address the unique medical needs and attributes of accounts.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas and GSK medicines.

Adhere to GSKβs Code of Conduct, policies, and standards.

Execute all administrative responsibilities, training, and documentation requirements.

Participate in Field Medical and cross-enterprise projects and teams.
Qualifications
-
Doctorate level with a medical or clinical focus (Pharm D, PHD, or MD) or MS-advanced science/clinical/healthcare related degree.

Oncology experience specifically in Lung and GI Cancer, preferably in Belgium.

Medical Affairs experience, preferably medical liaison experience.

2+ yearsβ experience in clinical research or clinical operations in humans.

Experience engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with medical professionals.

Experience in delivering medical-based presentations.

Experience identifying opportunities for medical engagement.

Experience developing relationships with external HCPs, KOLs, and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous clinical experience in situations with decision-making authority for patient care.

Proven track record of consistent, high performance.

Above average computer literacy, including experience with software applications.
