[Hiring] Nurse Navigator @Rovi Health

6d ago - Rovi Health is hiring a remote Nurse Navigator. 💸 Salary: $50 per hour 📍Location: USA

Role Description

You’ll join a small team of nurse navigators at Rovi and play a defining role in how clinical navigation works here. We’re building a navigation platform that enables clinicians to coordinate and deliver care. We want you to focus on the cases that require real judgement and relationship building, and reduce the noise of administrative and booking activities. You will help us build the system that gets us there.

Day-to-day, you’ll own a panel of members, manage their care across providers, and handle inbound clinical questions, all from our navigation platform. You’ll work under physician oversight for clinical decisions and escalations. You’ll also surface what we should build and what to fix to make the product better serve your and your patient’s needs.

This is a fully remote role with the option to work in-person at our NY office. All member interaction is virtual with no in-person care component.

What You’ll Do

  • Triage inbound clinical questions:
    • Assess urgency, determine level of care required, provide recommendations, and route them accordingly.
    • Recognize when a member needs emergency care and ensure they get it.
  • Navigate members to the right care:
    • Find the best option on quality and cost for specialists, imaging, or procedures.
    • Book appointments and follow through until the request is complete.
  • Manage proactive member care:
    • Drive outreach based on standing clinical protocols.
    • Review data-based recommendations and engage members proactively.
    • Flag patterns that should inform new protocols down the line.
  • Work within a supervised clinical structure:
    • Document interactions clearly and escalate to your supervising physician when needed.
    • Work at the intersection of clinical judgement and technology.
  • Shape the clinical product:
    • Collaborate with Rovi’s founders and product team on improving the navigation dashboard.
    • Identify current capabilities that fall short and suggest enhancements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with meaningful time in care coordination, case management, population health, or telehealth.
  • Strong clinical documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working asynchronously in message-based workflows.
  • BSN preferred; ADN considered with strong care coordination or case management experience.
  • Active RN license; NLC compact licensure required, NY and CA required or willing to obtain.
  • Helpful but not required: CCM or ACM certification, Spanish fluency.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary ($50 / hour; 1099 contract).
  • Fully remote; option to work in-person in NY office.
  • Wellness stipend.
