The Nurse Manager oversees the clinical operations teamβs ability to provide safe, high-quality care to patients, is involved in continuous quality improvement to improve care delivery and patient outcomes, serves as a resource to caregivers on the team, and establishes a supportive and responsive presence through role modeling and relationship building resulting in employee retention.

Provide leadership and support to site clinical operations team including nurses and Medical Assistants (MAs).

Maintain team schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

Complete performance reviews.
-
Coordinate educational and preceptor opportunities for nursing students.
-
Participate in the recruitment of new nurses and MAs.
-
Participate in recurring meetings with Associate Director of Clinical Operations.

Participate in the development of clinical policies, procedures, workflow, and staff development.
-
Provide support with education and implementation of workflow changes.
-
Evaluate outcomes of care coordination efforts.
-
Oversee the daily huddle in collaboration with Nurse Supervisor and/or Lead/Clinical Floor Supervisor(s).

Lead quality improvement activities and initiatives.

Provide ambulatory care support as a member of the care team, as needed.

Advocate for patients by working with the providers and auxiliary staff.

Provide support for other Nurse Managers.

Complete the responsibilities of the Nurse Supervisor if this position is not filled at a site.

Maintain compliance with all professional and organizational requirements.

Other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
-
Active RN licensure in the State of Delaware with no restrictions.

Five yearsβ experience as a RN.
-
Two years' supervisory experience.

Current BLS certification.
Requirements
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or similar (preferred).
-
Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (RN-BC) (preferred).
-
Quality improvement experience (preferred).
-
Ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English fluently (preferred).
