Role Description

Acentra Health is looking for an EAP Consultant, Mid to join our growing team.

• The EAP Consultant, Mid performs clinical telephonic assessments and consultations, delivering comprehensive referrals and ensuring diligent follow-up for managers, employees, and their family members covered by the Employee Assistance Program.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct both routine and urgent clinical risk assessments, offering expert consultations, short-term issue resolution, and comprehensive referral services.
• Provide management consultation services to various levels of management and human resources.
• Display a comprehensive understanding of the organization's customer base, staying updated on issues affecting customers.
• Engage in additional assigned duties to support internal and external customers in achieving the EAP department's goals.
• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
• Minimum 3-5 years employment in the mental health field where the assessment of mental illness and substance abuse was a key function.
• Must have knowledge of confidentiality laws and their exceptions.

Requirements

• EAP experience (2 years preferred).
• Independent license and CEAP preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm in a crisis.
