[Hiring] Mental Health Therapist @Marvin Behavioral Health

Role Description

As a therapist with Marvin, you’ll provide evidence-based virtual therapy to adult healthcare workers. Role details include:

• Deliver high-quality, confidential teletherapy sessions on our HIPAA-compliant video platform (Zoom) to doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals
• Use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or Gottman Method
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes in our streamlined EHR
• Incorporate measurement-based tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to monitor progress and improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Independent licensure in Michigan as an LMFT, LPC, or LMSW with clinical specialization, or Licensed Psychologist
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy to adults
• Experience providing therapy to healthcare professionals, mental healthcare workers, and/or first responders
• Availability for at least 10-15 hours per week
• Comfort delivering therapy via video platforms, using EHRs, digital scheduling tools, and Google Workspace
• Ability to incorporate assessment and measurement-based tools (i.e. PHQ-9) to monitor progress and improve treatment outcomes
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR, or Gottman Method
• Commitment to practicing cultural humility and patient-centered care
• Passion for supporting the mental health of healthcare workers!

Compensation

• As a remote independent contractor, you’ll receive competitive hourly pay.
• Compensated 50% of your rate for late cancellations or no-shows.
• LMFT, LPC, LMSW with clinical specialization: $60 - $70/hr (depending on experience)
• Licensed Psychologist: $70 - $80/hr
