Role Description
We are currently searching for linguists to join our Medical Talent Community. Given the highly regulated nature of the products in the Burmese market, we are looking for senior linguists with a proven track record specifically within the Life Sciences vertical. We prioritize linguists who understand the nuances of Patient Records and Clinical Protocols. Your specialized expertise will contribute to high-stakes medical and regulatory content.

Regulatory Review:
Adapting and validating target text to meet compliance standards.

Life Sciences Expertise:
Demonstrable experience in translating for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology.

Standard Operating Procedures:
Ability to work within strict GxP environments and adhere to ISO 17100 quality standards.
Qualifications

Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).

Currently based in the United States of America.

A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR

A graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR
-
5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.

Professional experience in translation and localization within the Medical/Life Sciences domains.
Requirements

Work availability fluctuates with project demand, making this better suited as a supplemental income stream.

As a 1099 contractor, you won't receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement contributions, and hours are not guaranteed.

Once you accept a task, we expect quality work and on-time delivery.

Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.
