Role Description
We are sharing a specialised freelance opportunity for experienced U.S.-based dermatologists to contribute to advanced medical AI evaluation through clinical-content review, dermatological image assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and structured expert feedback.
Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated medical content for dermatological accuracy, completeness, safety, and clinical relevance while also reviewing dermatology images through a structured online evaluation platform. The work combines clinical judgement, visual assessment, and evidence-based dermatology expertise.

Dermatological Image Assessment

Review dermatology images using a structured online evaluation tool

Assess image quality and diagnostic usability

Identify blur, lighting, exposure, colour, or framing concerns

Determine whether visual information is sufficient for clinical interpretation

Apply strong visual attention to subtle image-quality differences

Diagnostic Image Interpretation

Identify likely skin conditions where appropriate

Assign confidence ratings to image-based assessments

Document concise clinical reasoning supporting conclusions

Qualifications
-
Based in the United States
-
Licensed Medical Doctor (MD, MBBS, or equivalent qualification)
-
Specialisation in Dermatology or an equivalent dermatological qualification
-
Fully licensed and actively practising medicine in the United States
-
Minimum 5 years of post-residency dermatology experience
-
Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning capabilities
-
Excellent visual attention to detail
-
Comfortable reviewing sensitive or graphic medical imagery

Able to assess diagnoses, treatment plans, and medical summaries critically
-
Comfortable working with web-based annotation and evaluation platforms
-
Able to use image zoom and related review tools effectively
-
Strong ability to follow detailed clinical-evaluation guidelines
-
Able to complete structured questionnaires accurately
-
Medical content review or clinical research experience is advantageous

Previous annotation or AI/ML evaluation experience is preferred but not required
Engagement Details

Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week

Work must be completed without using confidential, proprietary, patient-identifiable, protected health, unpublished clinical, or otherwise restricted information belonging to any patient, employer, healthcare organisation, research institution, client, or other third party
