[Hiring] Medical/Clinical Scientist @Syneos Health

Role Description

The Medical/Clinical Scientist will work with the Medical Director to develop medical plans and engage with outside experts to coordinate necessary medical/scientific input.

• Perform regular and ad-hoc medical review of data listings and data visualization; analyze data to identify risks and trends.
• Pro-actively identify and resolve medical data review issues.
• Author medical data queries and review query responses; approve query closure with the Medical Director.
• Assist Medical Director in patient profiles review and scientific review of study-level data.
• Partner with Medical Directors for medical data review and safety review meetings.
• Manage project scope, objectives, and quality of deliverables to meet milestones and timelines.
• Serve as primary interface between internal team, customers, and vendors in medical data review.
• Collaborate with study team members to identify risks related to data integrity and subject safety.
• Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
• Acquire understanding of ongoing protocol designs and disease-related terminology.
• Adhere to data privacy guidelines, ICH, GCPs, and all enterprise policies.
• May participate or conduct interviews.

• Experience in medical data review and clinical research.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and good clinical practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
