Role Description

We are seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join IU Health's statewide Pre-Triage team. This role provides telephone-based clinical support to established patients. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy combining their clinical expertise with patient service in a non-bedside environment. The role allows team members to make a meaningful impact on the patient experience while supporting a large, integrated healthcare system.

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Typical Responsibilities

• Assessing patient concerns through telephone interactions
• Identifying issues that require escalation to RN Triage
• Connecting patients with the appropriate providers and care teams
• Supporting patients across the state in navigating their care needs
• Helping improve access to timely, high-quality healthcare

• Ability to troubleshoot

Requirements

• Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA; other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
• Successful completion of orientation required
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
