Role Description
This is a contract, on-site position offering an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide essential radiology coverage and diagnostic expertise within a dynamic clinical environment.
As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, interpreting a range of imaging studies, and collaborating with referring physicians to support accurate and timely patient care. Your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes and the efficiency of the medical practice.
Responsibilities

Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds

Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to referring physicians

Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning

Ensure compliance with medical practice protocols and regulatory standards

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation

Communicate findings clearly to clinical colleagues and, where appropriate, patients
-
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and diagnostic technologies
-
Support urgent and routine imaging requests within agreed turnaround times

Adhere to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical medical practice standards
Requirements

Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution

Associate-level experience in radiology or diagnostic imaging
-
Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction

Board certification or eligibility in Radiology

Strong diagnostic and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Proficiency with radiology information systems and PACS

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
