Role Description

Turning Point Homes, LLC is seeking a provisionally or fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT) to join our Outpatient Services team to provide office/virtual therapy at our Mooresville office and provide therapy for our IAFT clients. For over 23 years, we’ve been committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered mental health services across the region. This office is located in downtown Mooresville, NC. Starting contract split is 60/40.

Essential Duties

• Provide individual and family therapy through in-person or telehealth sessions for office-based clients and IAFT clients.
• Complete documentation within required timeframes per Medicaid Coverage Policy 8C.
• Maintain compliance with all outpatient service standards and MCO guidelines.
• Oversee administrative tasks including intakes, authorizations, reauthorizations, and productivity requirements.
• Respond promptly and professionally to new referrals and ensure all stakeholders remain informed.
• Participate in supervision, CEUs, and agency-required training to maintain licensure.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation

• Competitive contract split based on paid claims.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited graduate program.
• Fully or provisionally licensed in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT).
• Minimum 1 year of documented clinical experience with the population served.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, insight, and unbiased clinical judgment.
• Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention.
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Sound ethical and professional decision-making.
