[Hiring] Licensed Mental Health Provider @TimelyCare

Role Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Mental Health Provider to join our TalkNow Team. TalkNow is a 24/7, 365, on-demand telehealth service that exclusively serves the higher education student population. As a Part-Time Mental Health Provider, you will act as a primary form of emotional support for the students and members (i.e. faculty & staff) we serve.

• Providers must have successfully completed a master's degree in professional counseling, social work, and/or marriage and family therapy.
• Experience working with populations in need of crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning is required.

Location: We offer a remote work environment. Work from home criteria includes but is not limited to:

• Maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements.
• A secure and HIPAA compliant workspace free from distractions.
• Successful completion of the credentialing, onboarding, and training programs.
• Adherence to HIPAA, compliance standards, and all policies/procedures are required for this role.

Schedule (24 weekly hours):

• Wednesday: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CST (8 hrs.)
• Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CST (8 hrs.)
• Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CST (8 hrs.)

If the shift falls on a holiday, the provider will be expected to cover that day/time accordingly. A holiday spot bonus of $250 will be provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master's Degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy with Provisional or Associate License is REQUIRED.
• Fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner - PLUS.
• Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills.
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, or in a community mental health, crisis support, or college counseling environment.

• Use active listening skills and evidence-based modalities to build rapport, collaborate, support, and progress student and client care.
• Maintain professional conduct with all students, members, peers, and support staff.
• Remain calm and adapt to the changing needs of the members we serve.
• Assess, triage, and document sessions with members potentially in crisis and/or experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation.
• Respond to members who are potentially in crisis with professionalism, support, empathy, and an awareness of cultural humility.

The salary range for this opportunity is $37,200 for an unlicensed provider, and $40,800 for a licensed provider per year. This is the base pay, and you will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay.
