Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Health IT Technical Analyst with expertise in clinical data, healthcare interoperability, and Medicaid systems. The candidate will serve as a clinical data SME, supporting requirements gathering, solution design, data validation, integration, testing, and implementation while ensuring compliance with CMS timelines.

• Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot HealthConnex clinical data for Medicaid eligibility and HR1 work requirement exemption determinations.
• Support API development and refinement for clinical data exchange with eligibility systems.
• Collaborate with SAS, J2, NC Medicaid, and other stakeholders to test data flows and resolve integration issues.
• Support new project scoping, feasibility assessments, requirements gathering, and implementation.
• Ensure clinical data accuracy, standardization, and compliance with healthcare interoperability standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR.
• 3+ years of clinical data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years of experience with clinical coding systems: SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD, CPT, and RxNorm.
• 2+ years of Health Information Exchange (HIE), clinical data exchange, or integration experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Science, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
