[Hiring] Health Policy and Research Fellow @IMPaCT Care

Role Description

We're looking for a razor-sharp MPA, MPP or health-related graduate student or recent grad to join our team as part-time Policy and Research Fellow. You're the ideal candidate if you have a passion for health equity, exceptional research and analytical skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact. You thrive in ambiguity, excel at critical thinking, and have a talent for connecting the dots to identify long-term opportunities and risks.

In this fully remote role for 10-20 hours per week, you'll work closely with our Director of Public Partnerships (Annie Cloke) and Head of Scale (Dawn Alley) to:

• Conduct environmental scans and policy research.
• Synthesize findings and analyze data to generate actionable insights.
• Develop tools and resources that help community health workers and program leaders implement evidence-based best practices.

Requirements

• Ability to gather and interpret data from a wide range of sources, including peer-reviewed journals, grey literature, legislation and regulations, and Excel reports.
• Ability to identify patterns, connect seemingly unrelated information, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Commitment to delivering client-ready work and a proactive approach to asking questions early.
