[Hiring] Health Information Technician @MultiCare Health System

Role Description

The Health Info Tech is responsible for maintaining the patient chart filing system and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of paper through the clinic. This position works under daily supervision. Work situations are routine and require attention to detail. This position requires interaction with:

• Internal customers (the nursing staff, providers, account clerks, and all other departments)
• External customers (patients, other physician offices, and pharmacies)

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year previous clerical experience, in a clinic setting preferred
• Six months experience in medical record filing preferred
