[Hiring] Front Desk Coordinator @Helm

Role Description

We’re looking for a Remote Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team at The Coordinators! You’d be working remotely with our client in the Neurology space.

In this role, you will provide virtual front desk support for a busy neurology practice, handling:

• Patient check-in and check-out
• Referral coordination
• Insurance verification

This is a highly patient-facing administrative role that requires:

• Reliability
• Structure
• Proactive communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of front desk experience in a medical office (required)
• Proven experience with insurance verification and referral processing (required)
• Familiarity with EMR/practice management systems
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance terminology (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid)
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills, with strong phone and virtual etiquette
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional communication
• Experience in a neurology or other specialty practice (preferred)
• Knowledge of prior authorization requirements for neurological testing such as EEG, EMG, and imaging (preferred)
• Prior remote/virtual front desk or call center experience (preferred)
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, HIPAA-compliant home workspace
• Tech-savvy and effective in a remote work environment
• High integrity and ability to handle sensitive patient information
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and respect in all patient interactions
• Willingness to learn, grow, and develop yourself professionally

Requirements

• Schedule: Full-time, aligned with practice hours
• Pay Range: $1,000 - $1,400 per month (depending on experience)
• Equipment: BYO devices
