Role Description
The MID Fee for Service Facilitator will work with the Massachusetts Impaired Driving Program in New Bedford, MA. This part-time role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to facilitate psychoeducation groups and complete intake assessments virtually.

Facilitate groups associated with a curriculum.

Complete intake assessments virtually.

Work closely with MID Administrative Assistants at each site.

Facilitate up to 2 groups weekly (2 hours each).

Complete 2 intakes weekly (90 minutes each).

Group and intake times are subject to candidateβs schedule.

MID Groups take place after 5 PM on weekdays and any time on weekends.
Qualifications

A master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitation counseling, social work, and a minimum of one year of supervised substance abuse counseling experience; OR

A bachelor's degree in any of the listed disciplines and a minimum of two years of supervised substance abuse counseling experience; OR
-
A recognized certification or licensure including 4,000 hours of clinically supervised counseling of individuals with substance use disorders including at least 220 documented hours of supervision.

Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs.

Ability to work with others in a cooperative and collaborative manner.

An understanding of the relationship between substance use and mental health issues and/or self-help programs.

Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries.

Reinforce rules in a respectful manner.

Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder and HIPAA Regulations.

Certification in the HPAO approved de-escalation program.

Experience with Psychoeducational Groups.

Time management skills and organization to complete tasks in a timely manner.
