Role Description

The Delfina Doula will act as a virtual health coach to support pregnant patients and new moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Care Delivery manager to execute patient engagement and coaching protocols on a weekly basis
• Ensure patient’s engagement and participation for both pregnant patients and new mothers
• Ensure patients adhere to recommended care protocols and tracking as defined by the healthcare provider and/or organization

Qualifications

• DONA (Birth, CD, or CBE), ICEA, CAPPA, or ProDoula certified
• Strong communication and conversational skills
• Experience with Web and mobile technologies
• Fluency in English is a requirement, additional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
• Live or work in California, preferably in Ventura, Sacramento, or San Joaquin Counties
• Experience and knowledge of California communities is a plus
• Telehealth experience is a plus

Compensation

$30-35 USD per hour. The compensation range for this contract position represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training. Candidates who meet most of the qualifications above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.
