[Hiring] Contract Remote Telemedicine Veterinarian Opportunity @airVet

Role Description

Airvet is looking for licensed veterinarians to join our growing telehealth network. If you’re passionate about supporting pet parents and can commit 4+ hours per week, this part-time, fully remote role could be a great fit.

In this role, you’ll provide peace of mind and expert guidance to pet parents through scheduled telemedicine visits, all from the comfort of your home.

What you’ll be doing:

• Earn extra income from home in your spare time by answering telemedicine video calls regarding pet health problems.
• Monitor our portal, conduct scheduled visits, field teletriage requests, and respond to inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
• Conduct video visits about canine and feline health problems.
• Complete follow-ups, including case documentation and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Airvet’s best practices, service-level agreements (SLAs), and visit guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and address operational challenges.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support the Care Team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian.
• DVM or equivalent degree.
• US state license (preferred licensure in AL, AZ, CA, FL, ID, IN, KS, LA, MA, ME, MO, MS, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TX, VT, and/or VA).
• A reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.
• Smartphone and desktop computer or laptop necessary.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow training and protocol.
• Comfortable using desktop and mobile apps; highly proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with sound judgment.
• Adaptable and energized by a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• A compassionate communicator and creative problem-solver who strives to deliver outstanding client experiences.
• Creative problem-solver who continuously seeks improvements.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences and supporting pet parents through challenges.

• Compensation of $30 per case.
