Role Description

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based clinical care in the community through various programs and funding streams (CHSP, HCP).

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored Osteopathy treatment plans for clients in their own home through home care packages.
• Work closely with the community team including plan managers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Exercise Physiologists to provide comprehensive care.
• Provide high-quality and evidence-based care.
• Conduct assessments and observations for treatment or progression of home exercise programs.
• Perform massage/other manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Conduct regular assessments and equipment prescription to support client needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with a new client base.
• Observe clients perform certain activities to evaluate their condition and needs.
• Develop suitable treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provide necessary treatment to clients based on their individual needs.
• Work autonomously to prioritise and complete tasks, maintain records and provide patient reports.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Osteopathy
• AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Current Police Check
• Current drivers licence
• Current Covid Vaccinations
• Eligible to work permanently in Australia

Requirements

• Strong clinical skills in delivering evidence-based Osteopathy interventions.
• Excellent communication skills for building rapport with clients as well as collaborating within a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Ability to assess a client’s condition accurately using appropriate tools/techniques.
