Role Description

Become a part of our caring community. We are excited to offer the role of Virtual Physician Collaborator for CenterWell Medical Group, a new virtual care delivery group within CenterWell Senior Primary Care, Humana's Primary Care Organization. This group will provide virtual wraparound services to support patients when they cannot get in with their own PCP – closing gaps in care, ensuring timely access to important medications and solving urgent clinical needs.

This Virtual Physician Collaborator shares in our vision to improve primary care for the next generation of seniors and is eager to support excellent care every day! As the Physician Collaborator, you will focus on the collaborative relationship through our Nurse Practitioners. This is a fully remote role, which involves approximately 5 hours a month. You will work in a remote role, reporting to our Associate Director.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular chart review and coordinate monthly meetings.
• Be available as a resource for the advanced practice provider to ensure quality patient care.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders about quality of care, review of outcome data, procedure, and records issues.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted medical license in one or more of the following state(s): LA, NC, MS, KY, MO, and IN.
• If supervising in LA, MS, or IN, must reside in that State.
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university.
• Board certification or Board Eligible.
• 2+ years telemedicine/telehealth experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Collaborating Physician.

Requirements

• Work at Home Requirements: Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection suggested.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
• Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$310,000 - $368,500 per year
