Role Description

The Clinical Quality & Governance Lead plays a key role within our ADHD Titration Service, providing dedicated leadership and oversight across clinical quality, governance, complaints, incidents, audit and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure that concerns, complaints, incidents, audit findings and patient feedback are effectively reviewed and investigated.
  • Translate learning into meaningful and sustainable improvements.
  • Work closely with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and consistently high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and embed a strong learning framework across the ADHD Titration Service.
  • Use insight and emerging themes to drive improvement, strengthen practice and promote a culture of openness, accountability and shared learning.

This is a home-based role, and applicants must reside in the UK. Occasional travel may be required to attend face-to-face meetings at locations across the UK.

Qualifications

  • Registered healthcare professional with current professional registration.
  • Significant experience within healthcare quality, clinical governance and/or service improvement.
  • Experience of incident management, investigation and embedding learning.
  • Experience managing healthcare complaints, including investigation, response preparation and identification of learning.
  • Experience analysing incidents, complaints, patient feedback and other quality data to identify themes, trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience supporting clinical audit and quality improvement activity.
  • Experience working within mental health or specialist healthcare services and across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, quality improvement and incident management principles.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and information governance requirements.
